(12/98-Present - Principal – Distribution and Light Manufacturing Business Consulting), QED Environmental Systems, Inc., Ann Arbor, MI (7/92 -11/98 - Vice President – Finance and Administration), The Behler-Young Company, Grand Rapids, MI (4/81 – 3/92 - Vice President), Knapp & Tubbs, Grand Rapids, MI (3/80 – 3/81 - Management Information Systems Manager), Ernst and Young (12/69 – 2/80 – Manager in charge, Management Consulting Services (Des Moines)). He has experience with every aspect of a full ERP system. His role can be a coach, consultant, or project manager depending on how involved you want him to be in an implementation. His body of work includes the following: 1) Business operations analysis and recommendations; 2) Business process improvement and work flow; 3) Software selection – document functional requirements, identify and evaluate software solutions, cost/benefit analysis, develop project budget, pre-qualify vendors, due diligence, contract negotiation and implementation planning; 4) Software implementation project management – pre-implementation activities, project plan management, documentation and rethinking of business processes, develop procedures and training manuals, training and change management; 5) Inventory management and asset control –inventory management practices, investment analysis and requirements planning, physical inventory and cycle count management, automated replenishment, develop policies and procedures; or 6) Training - distribution best practices.
